Teen Creative Writing Exhibit Begins!

  • Date: 01/03/2022  (all day)

Teens and Tweens in grades 5th - 12th show us your fiction, nonfiction, and poetry writing skills! Write a poem or short story to ring in the new year. We have one requirement: stories or poems must mention books, the library, or reading somewhere in the text. We are super excited to see what you come up with! Short story entries should not exceed 2000 words. Each poem/story will count as one entry into our prize drawings. Maximum two entries per person. Please email entries to teenservices@newportbeachca.gov. All entries will also be displayed in a virtual exhibit on the library's website. Be sure to check out other entries at www.NewportTeens.org. Teen Creative Writing Exhibit beings on January 3 and ends January 31, 2022.

Funding generously provided by the Friends of the Library.
