Superhero Comic Book Illustrating Workshop

Join us for a LIVE interactive virtual workshop on how to create a Superhero Comic Book! Learn panel-to-panel layout for visual storytelling and an easy approach to drawing. You will be taken through a step-by-step process of how to draw a superhero and learn how to transform your penciled art into blue-line art, as well as inking. This 4-hour workshop will be held live via Zoom. Art materials required to participate will be provided to the first 20 participants who register! This is a beginning art class aimed for ages 8-12 years. Registration required.

Materials needed:

A couple #2 Pencils

Vinyl Eraser

Black, Pigma Sakura Micron pens sizes 005, 01, 02 (all three preferable)

1-2 fine-tip Sharpie Markers

5 sheets 11 x 17 copy paper

*Art materials will be provided to the first 20 participants to register. The first 20 registrants will be notified by email to arrange pick up at the library.

Other helpful items: pencil sharpener, notebook for taking notes
