  • Introduction: This class will examine the type of information found in deeds, land grants, mortgages, and land ownership maps.

 We apologize for the inconvenience, but this Genealogy Workshop has been cancelled.  

Valuable genealogical information concerning names of family members, relationships, and locations of residence can be discovered through tracing ancestral land ownership. This class will examine the type of information found in deeds, land grants, mortgages, and land ownership maps to unlock hidden genealogical information through the property owned by our ancestors. This class will not include the use of Media Lab computers.

Cancellations:  Due to limited seating in the Media Lab, we kindly request that registrants unable to attend the class contact the instructor with advanced notice so that the instructor may cancel your registration and make your seat available to another attendee.
