Eclipse Viewing

  • Introduction: Watch the eclipse live stream from NASA in the Friends Room. No glasses needed.
On Monday, August 21, the moon will slip in front of the sun in a rare celestial moment that won't take place again in North America until 2024. A partial eclipse will occur in Newport Beach at 10:21 a.m., but Newport Beach Public Library will be live streaming coverage from NASA as the eclipse travels across America from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Pacific Time).
Join us in the Friends Meeting Room to share this unique event with friends and neighbors.
