The Summer Reading Program runs from June 8 through July 27, 2024 with the theme READ, RENEW, REPEAT! We hope you'll join us for seven weeks of reading fun for Adults, Teens, and Kids!
To get started, sign up for a free Beanstack account and participate in your age group's online Summer Reading Program. Then stop by your local branch to pick up your prize book (while supplies last!). Participants will log reading and activities to earn digital badges and prizes. Complete the program by earning all required digital badges and be entered into a grand prize drawing! Online registration via Beanstack will be available beginning June 8, 2024. Offline participation available at any Library Branch.
The Summer Reading Program is generously funded by the Friends of the Library and the Newport Beach Public Library Foundation.

Calling all book lovers in 7th-12th grade! Be a part of the Teen Summer Reading Program by reading and submitting book reviews and join us for our new Teen Summer Reading Book Club!
Children's Summer Reading Program
Join us for a summer of free family activities, entertaining performances, and prizes at the Newport Beach Public Library. From high-energy dance experiences to interactive science programs, family crafts and prizes for reading; each year our Summer Reading Program invites kids from babies to those entering 6th grade to take part in an exciting summer of creativity, discovery, and exploration.
