Tech Toys were funded by generous contributions from the Newport Beach Public Library Foundation.

How do I check out Tech Toys?

• Visit the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Central Library.

• Bring your NBPL Library Card

• Tech Toys can be checked out for 7 days. No renewals.

• Customers must be 18 years or older to check out Tech Toys

How do I return Tech Toys?

• Items must be returned to the Reference Desk or Customer Service desk during Library hours. Do not return in outside bins.

• All parts must be returned with an item before it will be removed from your account

• No online renewals. Equipment can be returned to any library branch. If item does not have any other customer "holds," it can be checked out for another 7 days.

• Overdue fines are $5/day per item checked out

• Customer is responsible for lost or damaged equipment and peripherals. Lost items will be charged at replacement cost plus $20.00 replacement processing fee.

• The Library is not responsible for any damage that may occur on borrower’s equipment as a result of equipment borrowed from the Library.
