2019 Concert at Marina Park

Neil Diamond Tribute with Jason Lohrke

""The City of Newport Beach has added a fifth concert on the Balboa Peninsula as part of its annual Concerts on the Green summer series. Visitors are encouraged to bring their beach chairs and blankets for an evening of fun. Picnics are welcome, and Baby's Burgers will be onsite. Alcohol is prohibited.

The early years of Neil Diamond’s groundbreaking and legendary concerts come to life embodied through the performing artist and impressionist, Jason Lohrke. During this vividly captivating retro concert, Jason personifies Neil’s look, voice, movements, and crowd interactions to a T, taking his crowds of like-minded Diamond fans back in time as they recreate hit songs such as Solitary Man, Cherry Cherry, I’m A Believer, Cracklin’ Rosie, I Am I Said, Sweet Caroline and so many more. Admission is free!

Parking is limited. We encourage attendees to walk, bike or carpool. Bicycle parking will be available.
