NBPL Foundation, in partnership with UC Irvine Health, presents Medicine in Our Backyard, a series of lectures featuring internationally known UC Irvine Health physicians who will discuss research and cutting edge technology in their various fields of expertise.

Speaker: Lisa Gibbs, MD
Title: Frailty and Healthy Aging

Dr. Lisa Gibbs is a board-certified geriatrician and family medicine physician at UC Irvine Health. She has a special interest in elder abuse and neglect, healthy aging, depression in older adults, and dementia. Gibbs has been a co-investigator on numerous elder abuse research studies, including those from the California Department of Health Services, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the National Institute on Aging.
