OH. MY. GOD. This is ABSOLUTELY a MUST READ!!! Written by Holly Jackson, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (AGGGTM) was a book I finished in less than three days. In fact, I would've read it all in one if I could. I feel like normally, I'm glancing at the page numbers to see how far I am into the book, but it didn't happen even once with this. Not once did I glance to the bottom of the page for the number, I was only focused on the plot.

The plot of this book is so in depth, it has so many incredible layers that I cannot even fathom how someone could come up with all of this. It's so thrilling and keeps you on edge, you never know what to expect, and if you do guess, you're normally wrong. There were so many possibilities here, so many things that could have turned out to be true.

Like all murder mysteries, there were multiple suspects, however, I genuinely thought at one point or another all of them had done it. The author did such an incredible job laying out the evidence, storyline and events for this book. There are so many details and tricks that you miss until someone brings it up.

This "someone" is normally the main character, Pip. She's so brilliant and dedicated, and honestly kind of unlike any main character I've read about before. Yes, she's the typical headstrong female lead, but she's not impulsive. She thinks about everything. Everything she does is calculated, and she maps out and organizes and figures it out.

As much as I love her, Ravi will have to be my favorite here. Well, honestly them as a duo. Their banter and friendship was so fun to read, and it was amazing seeing them go from strangers to friends over this case.

Not once did this book ever bore me. I read it over three days. An hour on the bus home from school, two before dinner the next day, and then tonight I was sucked into the world of the mystery and just couldn't put it down. The only reason I put it down the first two times was because I had to go home and because I had to eat dinner.

The storyline and characters are all so complex to the point you may get confused a bit at first, but everything certainly falls into place exactly the way the author imagined it. Everything is so incredibly well planned that I feel as though it was real. Like this was a real case, not one written for a book series.

Honestly, I can't believe I didn't read it sooner, and I cannot recommend it enough. I'm so excited to read the second book in this series and see where it takes me. I'd rate it an 100 out of 10 if I could, but I'll settle for 10/10. Seriously, you have to read this book!! You won't regret it, I promise you.
