Join us for Newport/Mesa ProLiteracy's annual fundraising event. This adult literacy program is a service of the Newport Beach Public Library.

This year, the guest speaker will be bestselling author Lisa See. In her beloved New York Times bestsellers Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Peony in Love, Shanghai Girls and Dreams of Joy, and, most recently, China Dolls, Lisa See has brilliantly illuminated the strong bonds between women, romantic love, and love of country.

Ms. See will be introducing her latest book, The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane, a moving story about tradition, tea farming, and the enduring connection between mothers and daughters.
