The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is a very sad but sweet romantic novel that will have readers falling in love with at least one of the characters. This book tells the story of Hazel Lancaster, a teenage girl who has a terminal case of cancer. One day, when she goes to Cancer Kid Support Group, she meets a mysterious boy named Augustus Waters, who has had his own battle with cancer but is now in remission. They quickly develop an adorable connection with each other, and the entire book is about their adventures together and their adventures with their friend Issac, who is also from the Support Group. The book is about the highs and lows of cancer and about everything that it can give to and take from someone. This novel is also told from the perspective of Hazel. This book is an amazing read and is a novel that everyone should read at least once.

I really liked reading the book from the perspective of Hazel and learning about how cancer can truly impact someone and how it can change their life. It was definitely an eye-opening experience for me to read such a detailed book about something so different from books that I have read before. I really liked the style that it was written in, and the words and sentences were so beautifully written, and I became more and more enchanted with each page that I read. I also really liked the story and how everything played out. The relationship between Augustus and Hazel was so adorable that it can bring the reader to tears (I can speak from experience!). There was a lot of humor in the book, which gave it a much needed aspect of comedic relief. Along with being sad, entertaining, enlightening, and optimistic, it was also very funny and very enjoyable to read. This book held many emotions and will cause the reader to feel many different ways throughout the course of the book. I did not like a few of the characters in this book because they were very selfish and just plain rude, but I realize (and you should too) that they were meant to be that way for the purpose of the story. I would highly recommend this book to other Teen Readers because it is a very captivating book that delivers a fresh perspective and unique view of the world. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance novel, especially somewhat sad ones.

If you are looking for a happy book, this one may somewhat satisfy you, but I also must warn you that a book about teenagers and cancer may not be the choice for you! I would also recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an inspiring love story or anyone who just likes great quotes, especially quotes and dialogue about love. Overall, The Fault in Our Stars was a beautifully written book that was very enchanting and is a book that I would recommend to anyone who is willing to read it!
