He will also highlight possibilities and challenges associated with implementation of CRISPR technology.</span></p><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Dr. Grant MacGregor earned his D.Phil. from Sussex University. After post-doctoral work in human genetics, gene therapy and developmental biology at Baylor College of Medicine, he established a research lab at Emory University. In 2002, he moved his lab to UC Irvine.
