The City of Newport Beach will host a community meeting on group residential facilities on Monday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the Civic Center Community Room, 100 Civic Center Drive. Representatives of the California Department of Social Services will discuss the State’s licensing and oversight of social rehabilitation facilities. City, County and State representatives will be in attendance and will share brief updates on their respective agencies’ work related to group residential uses.
