<p>This free outdoor concert, presented by the City of Newport Beach and Pacific Symphony as part of the Symphony in the Cities series, will feature a variety of popular classics and rousing patriotic tunes. The concert will be held on the Civic Green in front of the Newport Beach Public Library entrance. Bring low-back chairs, blankets, and a picnic dinner, or purchase food from one of the food trucks on-site. Come early so children can participate in the Musical Playground activities preceding the concert.<br>

Musical Playground: Family activities and local music acts begin at 5:30 p.m.<br>

The Musical Playground features many interactive and hands-on activities for children, including instrument making, a drum circle, an instrument petting zoo, and an opportunity to meet the musicians.<br>

Pacific Symphony concert begins at 7 p.m.: Conducted by Maestro Carl St.Clair<br>
<br>
This special concert is presented by the Newport Beach City Arts Commission and Pacific Symphony with sponsorship by City National Bank.<br>
