NBPL Foundation, in partnership with UC Irvine Health, presents Medicine in Our Backyard, a series of lectures featuring internationally known UC Irvine Health physicians who will discuss research and cutting edge technology in their various fields of expertise.

Speaker: Sanjay Kedhar, MD
Title: The role of the gut microbiome in eye disease

Dr. Sanjay Kedhar is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of patients with uveitis and other autoimmune and infectious eye diseases. He will discuss the potential role for the gut microbiome in uveitis and Age-related Macular Degeneration.
